TEACHING READING COMPETITION ON LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY SCHEME

READER ARTICLE ON COMPETITION

Referencing the definition of competition by "dried" READING COMPETITION defined as the ability to respond to demands and carry out the task of reading in an appropriate manner, resulting in a READ practical and quality. To do this, it is essential to the implementation of a process of understanding that will emerge from the combination of practical skills for using information from the text itself, both in their general understanding and interpretation as specific data, knowledge fall back for reflection and assessment of content and form of the text that we face, motivation and positive attitude toward reading, along with ethical values, emotions and other social components, will finally get an effective reading.

However, since teachers directly responsible in that act of reading, and aware of its importance as a basic pillar of the teaching-learning process, the difficulty comes in when facing the HOW.
From the lowest grade levels, basic to the provision of a good foundation, there are times when we focus more on quantity than quality, making our hard work in a race against time where "touch" the maximum number of proposed content for the course. This, together with other determinants of our social, cultural and family, means that often feel frustration and disappointment about not getting a positive response to our efforts, in terms of results.
However, I would take as a starting point and adjusting the level of education in which we are working, some of the sections of the Decalogue Cassany for teaching written composition, targeted and versioned for teaching comprehension of written texts :
_ The teacher read in class. _ The teacher acts
as a collaborator and adviser. _
We use contemporary resources. _
read about interesting topics for students. _
read in class. _
collaborate with others, reading cooperatively. _
We talked about what we read. _
self-paced reading, taking responsibilities. _
we read or the product of our understanding.
